2PieceBridal was born out of our Founder Kemi’s experience when purchasing her wedding dress in 2015. This is Kemi’s Story...

“Buying the dress of your dreams is one of the most exciting and precious aspects on the road to your wedding day. Unfortunately, my wedding dress journey wasn't as wonderful and dreamy as I had hoped.

Ladies, let’s be honest: how many women do you know who wear the same size on top as they do on the bottom? I don’t know too many! The average UK woman is a size 14, but what does that mean? Size 14 jeans and a size 12 top? What if you’re bigger on top with a smaller bottom half? The truth is that we are all fabulously, wonderfully unique and we come in all shapes and sizes. And often, that can’t just be captured by one single dress size and that certainly is the case with me! When I finally found a dress that I liked, there were endless alterations and fittings which added unnecessary stress and, in the end, I was left with a dress that was gorgeous but not quite the right fit.

I made a secret pact to myself after my experience that somehow, I would try to create more options for brides. I wanted to create a collection of bridal separates that looked like one seamless gown. I wanted to ensure that women of all shapes and sizes could buy a bridal bodice and a bridal skirt in their actual size. And so, the concept of 2PieceBridal was born, with the aim of alleviating the little annoyances that some women may encounter when purchasing a wedding dress.

So here we are, ready to serve you, women who may relate to my story, and women who maybe don’t, but just love our bridal separates (they are pretty awesome by the way!)

Whatever shape or size you may be, we are committed to making you feel not only beautiful but comfortable and relaxed on your special day!"
